The Avanti Plus Hellfire Cup is a professionally managed 4 day mountain biking event with great onsite services and entertainment. It will be held on November 16 – 19 2017.
The main riding format is a 4 day pairs race, (There are however limited individual options available see Lone Wolf below for details). Teams of two riders compete in a multiple stage race over 4 days, riding on great trails and amazing countryside with one great single race village base.
Entry fees are $445 per rider for the 4 day format (Hellfire Cup and Lone Wolf) .
For a more detailed overview of the race, check out the 2015 competitor information pack. 2017 version out soon but this gives you heads up of how it all works. Ignore the information about the Half Satan 2 day version we are not running this option in 2017.
The race is achievable for anyone with a decent level of fitness and MTB skills. Be realistic about your abilities and plan properly so you can enjoy the event. To get the most out of your Hellfire Cup you will also need to look after yourself in terms of your camping needs, hydration and race nutrition.
Our philosophy is that racing should be challenging but achievable, that our guests at our events should be well fed have great services and and a great time. Riders should be rewarded with prizes for podiums and jags of spot prizes for everyone. Trails that keep you amped for the next riding stage and return you to a welcoming, laid back race village.
