As Dennis Denuto once said – “it’s the vibe man”.
Wondering what makes Hellfire so special? Our team is made up of a true family of riders who are committed to making Hellfire the kind of event they would go to. These are the people who give their time to build trails that cater for adventure seeking riders because they believe great trails are good for the soul. Our team works tirelessly before, during, and after Hellfire because they want you to have a great time when you sign up for a Hellfire adventure. The sponsors are a part of our team because they want to see an event that is interesting and unique develop. Of course without you, the like minded riders who come from all over for a shared experience, it wouldn’t be much of a vibe.
2015 saw numbers increase and new services and trails laid out. We had more great feedback from riders and we are already hard at work making sure 2017 will have new trail sections, and more plans for the race village.
THE SUM OF ITS PARTS
From the original concept, we wanted to create an experience, not just a great race. With this in mind we have put together the elements we think make a great race and festival; a bar in partnership with our amazing supporters Moo Brew, a shelter for socialising, strange village activities for no discernible reason, fantastic trails in some crazy and beautiful terrain, fully serviced race village, professional timing, entertainment and live music, professional traffic management, interesting and varied stages, a stellar spot prize pool, and a great team of human beings that bring it all together. We think a race is the sum of it’s parts and we put the effort in to make everyone feel welcome and part of Hellfire because we love riding we love the area and we love seeing people come here and have a great adventure.
Having it all based in a beautiful rural setting with a compact stage race format that means once you are settled in to your accommodation or camp site you can enjoy the event without having to shuffle. This doesn’t do the vibe of the thing any harm either.
